About this Project
This project is part of a semester-long course in Digital History at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. It is intended to do what a journal article or book cannot: analyze a large volume of photographs. The printed journal or book would not allow for the reprint of nearly 100 photographs, whereas there are no such restrictions on this website. The scope for expansion of this type of analysis is limitless.
I owe special thanks to the Museum of the Rockies Archives, Montana State University Archives, Montana State University-Northern Archives, and Little Big Horn College Archives for giving me permission to use their photographs. Any reproduction of the photographs is prohibited without permission from the appropriate archive and subject to copyright.
