This section starts with an interactive map of displaced person camps administered by UNRRA. Information about estimated total camp population and the predominant ethnic make-up of persons receiving food, clothing, medical care, and shelter are included as often as possible. Many of the Placemarks on the Google Map are referenced from this document with supplemental referencing from the dpcamps.org site with full permission from its founder, Olga Kaczmar, who lived in one of the DP camps as a very small child.
This section consists of a timeline that shows the history of UNRRA during its years of operation AND a second timeline looks at the relationship between the United States, Great Britain, and the Soviet Union over the span of UNRRA's existence. Special attention is given to events that shaped the direction that UNRRA would take during the years following the conflict in Europe.
