Hannah Maria Tracy Cutler in Nebraska

An Ohio suffragist, Cutler was one of many national suffrage leaders who spent several weeks in Nebraska in the weeks leading up to the vote on the Impartial Suffrage Amendment. She spoke at private homes, before local suffrage organizations, in schoolhouse meetings, and at rallies. Red Willow County, where she spent the days immediately preceding the election, was one of the eleven counties where the Impartial Suffrage Amendment passed.
